Research Interests

I am interested in examining well-being as children transition into adults. My research interests are looking at low-income children from disadvantaged backgrounds. This is examining socioeconomic factors, family structure components and other factors such as geographic location. Specifically I am concerned with examining kinship exchange types and whether these exchanges are helping to mitigate the effects of family complexity within children coming from single-parent households.
