Family, Gender, Class, Inequality, Education
My past research has heavily focused on first-generation college students and their experiences and levels of academic preparedness at Loyola Marymount University. My current research interests are very broad in terms of family and gender, including gender roles and ideologies in families of color, gender socialization of children, domestic violence, and parenting styles in families of varying socioeconomic statuses.
