Research Interests
My research currently centers on residential behavioral energy consumption. I am interested in exploring this topic through the lens of injunctive norms, Gidden’s early career theory on the reflexivity of high modernity, public policy barriers, and organizations analysis. Over the past eight years, I have applied my diverse training in economics, sociology, and public policy to both the private and public sectors of the energy industry. My work experience allowed me to see an opportune space for further research relating to navigating policy concerns surrounding the implementation of technology innovations in the energy sector under the umbrella of environmental sociology.
