Research Interests
My research interests are in the areas of family, education, and work throughout the life course, with a particular focus on the links between mental health, as well as health, and educational attainment across the transition to adulthood. I am currently involved in research investigating sense of control as an early determinant of adult depression; the links between motherhood, employment, parenthood, and mental health; and character development through high school sport participation.
