Department of Sociology The Don Dillman Fellowship

Award: Cash award.

Purpose: The fellowship provides dissertation research funds for graduate students currently pursuing their Ph.D. in the Department of Sociology at Washington State University.

Eligibility: Recipients must be pursuing a Ph.D. in Sociology or an interdisciplinary Ph.D. with a sociological emphasis and Department of Sociology faculty must serve on the student’s dissertation committee. Recipients must also be in good academic standing.

Criteria: Preference will be given to students proposing quantitative work that uses survey research methods either alone or in conjunction with other research methods for obtaining data to be analyzed in their dissertation.

Application: In clear and concise statement of no more than 400 words, describe your proposed research project and justification for use of funds. Submit a project budget in pdf format.
