Research Interests
My research examines political and environmental social movements, with attention to how global processes shape their emergence, strategies, and outcomes. I am especially interested in protest policing, globalization, and the responses of state and non-state actors to collective action. Methodologically, I work across quantitative and qualitative approaches. My training includes statistics, interviews, survey methodology, and archival research. In my current research, I combine large-scale data analysis with historical and institutional approaches. This allows me to examine social and political processes across contexts and time.
