The study of human social behavior is as global as the world is round. All students are encouraged to expand their educational borders to settings beyond the Washington State University campuses. Students may participate in the National Student Exchange Program for example, and study at one of over 100 participating universities within the U.S, its territories, or Canada.
Students may also participate in the WSU education abroad program. Students interested in this program are especially encouraged to explore the scholarship opportunities available through this WSU program.
Each of study abroad program allows students to study at universities all over the world. Many programs include intensive language courses; some provide internship opportunities. Students can study abroad for the summer, one semester, or for an entire year. Sociology students have recently studied in Italy, South Africa, Costa Rica, and Brazil!
