Research Interests

My research is focused on labor organizing in the restaurant industry at the intersection of gender, race, and class.  Specifically, looking at leaders of collective action and organizing strategies and how this varies by restaurant establishment type.  Additionally, I am interested in the momentum of solidarity, notably how different forms of solidarity impact labor organizing efforts.
