Eligibility

For Undergraduate and Graduate Students

• An incoming or continuing student in good standing at WSU Pullman or WSU Vancouver.
• Enrolled in or intending to enroll in a degree program offered by the Department of Sociology.
• A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Need-based scholarship also require a completed FAFSA or WASFA.

Application Process

Scholarships

Department of Sociology uses the WSU General Scholarship application to process undergraduate and graduate student scholarship applications.

Annual deadline: January 31 for the following academic year.

By completing the free WSU application, you will be automatically considered for all scholarships from the department, college, and university for which you are eligible.

Fellowships & Awards

Each of the department’s graduate student fellowships and travel awards requires specific materials.

Annual deadline: first Monday in February.
